In a video posted by Rishabh Pant from his official 'X' account formerly known as Twitter, the wicket-keeper was seen rolling his arms over during a Team India training session to Shubman Gill during the second Test of the two-match series against Bangladesh which was held at the Green Park in Kanpur. The Delhi Capitals captain was bowling to Shubman Gill when KL Rahul asked him if he had bowled before in the recently concluded Delhi Premier League 2024.
And the answer to which was yes. Pant surprised everyone during the opening match of the DPL T20 2024 between South Delhi Superstarz and Purani Dilli 6 when he came to bowl in the final over to defend in the final over.

In the video which is now going viral on the social media, KL Rahul asks Pant "Rishabh, tu ne Delhi Premier League me bhi bowling kari thi na?", to which he responded by saying "Aur kya? Ek run chahiye tha". Then Pant was seen bowling again and said "kya beat karaya yaar", then even Shubman Gill praised him saying "Tagdi practice karwayi thi tune Rishabh".
India defeated Bangladesh in the second Test at Green Park, Kanpur, to secure a record-breaking 18th consecutive series victory at home. With the series won 2-0, India guaranteed their place atop the World Test Championship 2023–25 cycle.
India forced a result despite missing two days to rain thanks to some incredible batting displays on Day 4 and a clinical display with the ball on the last day, which saw them bowl Bangladesh out for just 146 in the opening session. Bangladesh's innings ended in 47 overs as Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja each claimed three wickets, while Akash Deep claimed the lone wicket.
And with seven wickets remaining, India easily defeated Bangladesh, reaching the target of 95 in just 17.2 overs. Jaiswal scored the highest, 51.
