After two days were washed out due to rain and wet outfield, Indian team was raring to go against Bangladesh on Day 3 at Green Park, Kanpur. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front as he took a one-handed stunner at widish mid-off to dismiss Bangladesh wicektkeeper-batter Litton Das
 

In the 15th over of Day 4, Mohammed Siraj tested Das with a length ball. Das charged down the track and looked to hit over the 30-yard circle but Rohit timed his jump to perfection and take a one-handed stunner. As Rohit took the catch and celebrated, Shubman Gill could not believe what he had just witnessed. He had his hands on his head as he rushed towards Rohit to celebrate the wicket.

This was Siraj's first wicket of the Kanpur Test. He walked out to bat after Jasprit Bumrah cleaned up Mushfiqur Rahim with a delivery angled in. Das hit three fours in his 30-ball 13.

Siraj takes a blinder too

Later in the first session, there was another one-handed stunner grabbed by Siraj. Veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan looked to attack off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. The Indian spinner was slowed it down and Shakib fell for it. The left-handed batter tried to hit one over the in-field but Siraj at mid-off backpedalled and took a one-handed catch while falling over. Shakib departed after scoring just nine runs from 17 balls including two fours.

Mominul holds on to one end

While three wickets fell on the other end, top-order batter Mominul Haque continued to anchor the innings. The visitors started at a score of 107/3 from 35 overs. Haque was unbeaten on 40. He reached his fifty from 110 balls. The southpaw accelerated after reaching his fifty. He became the first Bangladesh batter at no.3 to score a century against India in the format. 
 

Haque reached the milestone with a boundary off Ashwin in the final over of the first session. He took 172 balls to reach the three figures.
