The star wicketkeeper-batsman cracked the second fastest T20I century for India, belting Bangladeshi bowlers left, right centre. Notably, Rohit Sharma holds the record of hammering fastest T20I century for India. Rohit achieved that feat against Sri Lanka in 2017 in Indore.

Samson took just 40 balls to bring his maiden T20I century. However, his blitzkrieg came to an end after notching 111 off 47 balls riding on 8 sixes and 11 fours.

Overwhelmed by his century, Samson removed his helmet and acknowledged the enthusiastic applause from the crowd. The Rajasthan Royals captain shared a heartwarming embrace with his captain, Suryakumar Yadav, who had also contributed a quick-fire 23-ball fifty.
