His best score of 290 came against Australia in Perth in November 2015. He scored three double tons in 196 innings. "The series was great – I was wondering if we need to come back tomorrow, but the boys were fantastic. It became a bit funky towards the end, I chunked it up and Tom (Latham) said it was the most precious thing I did over the whole game," the retiring Taylor quoted after scalping the final wicket to win the match. Not renowned for bowling, he took the wicket of Ebadot Hossain to record the win in Christchurch. The Indian duo of Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth remains his only other victims. "I have thoroughly enjoyed representing my country, have played a lot here (in Christchurch), spent a lot of time and it's a great way to finish," he added. The right-handed batter will continue to play in the limited-overs format until March, as he will bow out of the ODI and T20I format after the series against Australia and the Netherlands. This also means New Zealand’s chances of securing a place in the WTC finals are slim. The Black caps last lost a Test match at home in 2017 against South Africa. Proteas won that game by eight wickets chasing a target of 81 runs. This is also the first time since 2011 an Asian team has won a Test match in this part of the world. On the sixth ball of Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain’s over, Young played a shot that produced an outside edge and went straight to the first slip. What could have been a routine catch for the fielder standing at first slip &nbsp;turned out to be a hilarious error after the fielder standing at the second slip decided to jump for a catch but eventually he failed and the ball took a mighty deflection and went towards fine leg, in the meantime Young and his partner- Tom Latham completed three runs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Four more runsBut the humorous part does not end there. It is his third offence in a 24-month period. Jamieson’s previous breaches were on March 23, 2021, during an ODI against Bangladesh in Christchurch, and on December 28, 2020 in a Test match against Pakistan in Tauranga.&nbsp;Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.&nbsp;On-field umpires Chris Gaffaney and Wayne Knights, third umpire Chris Brown and fourth umpire Shaun Haig levelled the charge. Jamieson admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Jeff Crowe of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees and ratified by the ICC Cricket Operations department as per the Covid-19 interim playing regulations. The defending WTC winners will now have to come from behind to draw the two-match Test series, as the Tigers now lead the affair 1-0.&nbsp;&nbsp;The teams will next meet on Sunday (January 9) at Christchurch, as Bangladesh would try to imply further misery on the Blackcaps by registering their first series win on New Zealand soil.
