The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced an INR 58 Crore cash prize for Rohit Sharma-led Team India including coaching and support staff and members of the Men’s Selection Committee for their outstanding performance in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. 

BCCI secretary Saikia revealed the breakdown of the cash prize where every player and head coach Gautam Gambhir will get 3 crores INR and Rs 50 lakh will be given to the remaining coaches (assistant coaches Ryan Ten Doeschate, Abhishek Nayar, batting coach Sitanshu Kotak, bowling coach Morne Morkel), remaining support staff will 50 lakhs each and BCCI officials will get Rs 25 lakh each.

"Rs 3 crore each will be given to every player. Rs 3 crore will be given to the head coach (Gautam Gambhir), Rs 50 lakh will be given to the remaining coaches (assistant coaches Ryan Ten Doeschate, Abhishek Nayar, batting coach Sitanshu Kotak, bowling coach Morne Morkel), remaining support staff will 50 lakh each and BCCI officials will get Rs 25 lakh each" Saikia told ANI. 

Rohit Sharma-led side had a dominating performance in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 where they remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. The Men in Blue defeated Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand in their group-stage matches before featuring in the semifinal against Australia. 

Team India defeated Australia by four wickets to seal their berth for the final where they again defeated New Zealand in the final to win the title. Team India played all their Champions Trophy matches at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
