Put to bowl first India's splendid bowling show restricted Pakistan to a modest total. The collective performance of the Indian bowlers proved decisive in limiting their rivals.

Pakistan, having chosen to bat first, struggled to build momentum and were ultimately bowled out in the final over of their innings. Despite a brilliant half-century from Saud Shakeel, the Pakistani batting lineup could only muster a total of 241 runs. Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for India as he grabbed three wickets while Hardik Pandya chipped in with two scalps. Meanwhile, Harshit Rana, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel also contributed with a wicket each.
