India and Pakistan are set to lock horns in Champions Trophy on February 23

The high-octane clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan always brings a lot of thrill and excitement amongst cricket fans across the world. The mother of all battle will once again on display in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 which is set to start from February 19. India and Pakistan are slated to be up against each other on February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium.

The Champions Trophy 2025 will be hosted in Pakistan, however, India will play all of its matches, including potential semifinals and the final, in Dubai as the tournament is being played in hybrid model after BCCI refused to travel to the neighbouring nation owing to tensions between the two nations. This decision was made after BCCI expressed security concerns regarding traveling to Pakistan. Following a month of negotiations, the BCCI and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed on a hybrid model for the tournament. It was mutually decided that no matches between India and Pakistan will be played in either country until 2027, ensuring that all encounters take place at neutral venues.

Meanwhile, right ahead of the highly anticipated clash fans are curious as to how to grab the tickets for the India versus Pakistan encounter.The tickets for the highly India versus Pakistan clash at the ICC Champions Trophy are not yet available for purchase. However, the ICC has initiated a registration process to keep fans informed about the latest updates on ticket sales.

To receive timely notifications, fans can click on the provided link to register. The registration process requires individuals to provide their name, email address, contact number, date of birth, country of residence, and their favorite team. After entering these details and agreeing to the terms and conditions, they will be added to the notification list.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the ticket prices for Champions Trophy matches to be held in Pakistan.

Prices range from 620 INR for general enclosures to 7750 INR for gallery tickets. Notably, the ticket prices for matches not involving Pakistan are comparatively lower, with general enclosure tickets starting at 310 INR and the highest-priced gallery tickets capped at 5580 INR at the Karachi Stadium.

Champions Trophy tickets on first-come, first-served basis

Meanwhile, COO of the Emirates Cricket Board and former COO of the PCB Subhan Ahmed has stated that the tickets will be procured on a first-come, first-served basis.

“With so many Indians and Pakistanis living here, these games are more than just cricket; they’re a celebration. Fans from both sides come together to support their teams and enjoy the sport, creating an electric atmosphere. We expect these matches to be very entertaining and hope to see record-breaking support from fans,” he said while speaking to Cricket Pakistan as quoted by Indian Express.

“Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring fans from both India and Pakistan, as well as others, can enjoy the action,” he added “We’re committed to ensuring cricket lovers can attend without unnecessary hurdles. The UAE offers unmatched facilities and government support, making it a prime location for events, even at short notice,” he concluded.

India and Pakistan are the only two teams who haven't announced their squads for the Champions Trophy. Earlier reports were doing round that India's Champions Trophy squad will be announced by January 12. However, in an exclusive interaction with Sports Tak, BCCI's vice-president Rajeev Shukla has revealed that that BCCI will conduct a meeting on January 18-19 to take a final call on India's squad for Champions Trophy 2025.
