Pakistan's Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi will host Champions Trophy 2025 matches.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi slammed the critics who questioned the board's ability to complete the stadium before the given time by the International Cricket Council for the Champions Trophy 2025 which is scheduled to start from February 19.

PCB faced a lot of heat from the fans regarding the timely completion of the renovation of the stadiums, which will host the Champions Trophy matches.

After Pakistan shifted the venue for a bilateral Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh from Karachi to Rawalpindi last year and the extension of the deadline raised a lot of concerns about whether Pakistan could complete the work on time.

"We win, you lose. This is for those who claimed on social media that we could not complete the construction of this stadium. If we failed to complete this, you would have won, and we were unsuccessful. However, by completing this [upgradation] project, we won, and you lose now," Naqvi said as quoted from Geo News.

Pakistan's Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi will host the matches of the Champions Trophy where the hosts Pakistan will start the tournament campaign against New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The showpiece event will be played in a hybrid model where matches featuring India and one of the semifinals will take place in Pakistan and the rest of the tournament will take place in Pakistan. The final of the Champions Trophy will be played on March 9. The venue for the title decider also depends on India's performance. If Rohit Sharma-led side manages to qualify for the summit clash it will take place in Dubai. Otherwise Pakistan will host the grand finale.
