Kohli's current tally stands at 157 catches. Other prominent Indian fielders on this list include Mohammad Azharuddin (156), Sachin Tendulkar (140), Rahul Dravid (124), and Suresh Raina (102).
Virat Kohli's record-breaking catch was a crucial moment in the match, resulting in the dismissal of Naseem Shah and marking Pakistan's eighth lost wicket. The catch, a well-executed low grab, contributed to the momentum shift in India's favor. Additionally, this dismissal represented Kuldeep Yadav's third wicket of the innings, following his earlier dismissals of Salman Ali Agha and Shaheen Shah Afridi. Kuldeep's consistent performance with the ball, coupled with Kohli's sharp fielding, played a role in India's dominance.
