India all-rounder Hardik Pandya took his Instagram to share the promo hyping up Champions Trophy 2025 which is scheduled to start from February 19. Team India will enter the tournament as last edition's finalists and will start their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20.
The marquee event will be hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the tournament will be played in a hybrid model where India-centric matches will take place in Dubai and Pakistan will host the rest of the matches.
The Indian star all-rounder took his Instagram to share the video with the caption: “Mission #ChampionsTrophy. The action begins on 19 February and Team India is ready to put it ALL ON THE LINE."
India all-rounder Hardik said that the Champions Trophy will add depth and context to the ODI format and Team India is ready to showcase its unique brand of cricket.
“The return of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy is a significant boost to cricket, adding depth and context to the One-Day format. This iconic tournament promises to reignite excitement among fans and players alike. India is ready to showcase its unique brand of cricket, with every player committed to bringing the trophy home again," said Pandya in a tournament release.
Afghanistan star Mohammad Nabi said that they can't wait to compete against the best of the best and make their nation proud.
“It’s Afghanistan’s first time at the Men’s Champions Trophy, we can’t wait to compete against the best of the best and make our nation proud," Nabi said.
Pakistan speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi said that for them cricket is more than a game and as defending champions and tournament hosts they will look to win the title again.
“For Pakistan, cricket is more than a game—it’s our passion, our pride, our identity, and as defending Champions and tournament hosts, there’s everything to play for. I’m sure the whole of Pakistan is eagerly awaiting the 19th of February, it’ll be a spectacle like no other" said Shaheen Afridi.
Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to start from February 19 where defending champions and hosts Pakistan will play the tournament's opener clash against New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi.
