Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding: In a star studded affair, former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, legendary Sachin Tendulkar along with Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya are set to grace Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's fancy three-day pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar.

Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's fat pre-wedding

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, and Nita Ambani, is engaged to Radhika Merchant, who is the younger daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant. The couple plans to tie the knot later in the year.

Dhoni, accompanied by his wife Sakshi Dhoni, took a flight to Jamnagar from a private airport. Tendulkar too made his way to the Gujarat city with his family.

Cricketing stars to grace three-day pre-wedding affair

In addition to Dhoni and Tendulkar, the pre-wedding celebration will be graced by a notable lineup of both current and former cricketers from India and overseas, including Rohit Sharma, Zaheer Khan, KL Rahul, brothers Hardik and Krunal Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Dwayne Bravo, Trent Boult, and Sam Curran. Some have started to arrive in Jamnagar as of Friday.

 

Saina Nehwal along with her husband were spotted at the Airport departing from Mumbai.

 

The event will not only see the presence of cricketers but also leading figures from various industries and global celebrities. The festivities, starting March 1, will feature a performance by the renowned pop star Rihanna.

The first day's theme, ‘An Evening in Everland,’ requires guests to don elegant cocktail attire. The following day, themed ‘A Walk on the Wildside,’ suggests a 'jungle fever' dress code and will take place outdoors at the animal rescue and rehabilitation center in Jamnagar.

Attendees will then experience ‘Mela Rouge,’ a celebration of traditional South Asian culture, where they are encouraged to wear their favorite South Asian outfits.

The third day includes two events: ‘Tusker Trails’ and ‘Hashtakshar.’ The former is an outdoor event designed for guests to appreciate Jamnagar's natural beauty, while the latter, marking the conclusion of the festivities, will have guests dressed in ‘heritage Indian Wear’.

 

Joining the pre-wedding celebrations will be notable figures such as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, esteemed musician Rihanna, and Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukherjee, Arjun Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Ayan Mukherjee, and Atlee.

Other distinguished guests include Bill Gates, Gautam Adani, and Kumar Mangalam Birla. According to the Hindustan Times, international dignitaries such as Yasir Al Rumayyan, chairperson of the Saudi Arabian company Aramco, Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohamed Bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al Thani, and Bhutan’s Queen Jetsun Pema are also expected to attend.

The festivities commenced with a traditional ‘anna seva’ in Jogwad, a village near Jamnagar, where approximately 51,000 villagers were treated to Gujarati cuisine, a gesture that will continue over the next few days.
