Ravindra Jadeja refrained from calling England a ‘difficult team’ to beat.

The ongoing Test series between India and England is tied at 1-1.

India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja delivered a resounding statement to England ahead of the 3rd Test match, scheduled to be played in Rajkot from February 15. Jadeja refrained from calling England a 'difficult team' to beat and affirmed that India would have won the 1st Test match in Hyderabad if not for their self-inflicted wounds. India had lost the first Test by 28 runs before storming back with a convincing 106-run win in second Test in Visakhapatnam.

"I won't term England as one of the most difficult teams. It hasn't been easy for other teams to come to India and play. If it wasn't for small mistakes in second innings of first Test, we wouldn't have lost," Jadeja said in the pre-match press conference.

Ravindra Jadeja's hamstring injury

During the tense chase in the opening Test against England, Ravindra Jadeja's significant contributions were abruptly halted when he was run out by England's captain, Ben Stokes. Despite showcasing his prowess with a notable 87-run knock in the first innings and securing five wickets over two innings, Jadeja was forced to leave the field with an injury. This incident left both fans and his teammates anxious about his ability to continue in the series.

But his return has brought much-needed good news both for the Indian cricket team and its fans.
