Police stopped Team India's most experienced support staff member, Raghavendra Dwivedi, from entering the team hotel in Nagpur on Monday. Dwivedi was handpicked by Sachin Tendulkar in 2011 and gradually rose to prominence on the squad. Two police officers in front of the Radisson Blu hotel in Nagpur were unable to identify Raghavendra, also known as "Raghu," in a now-viral video. Because they thought he was an intruder, they were seen stopping Raghu from entering the hotel.

In the video which is now going viral all across social media, a person was also heard shouting "Arey coach hai who. Team ke saath hai. Bus see utra hai. (He's a coach... member of the team. He just deboarded the bus)." Raghu managed the situation quite effectively. He was permitted to pass through after a few moments
The success of the Indian cricket team is greatly influenced by Raghu. His backstage efforts as the throwdown specialist have been crucial in ensuring that the team's batting power is at its highest level. One of the most important members of the Indian team's support crew, Raghu, simulates different match scenarios by giving the batters accurate throwdowns. His speciality is simulating fast bowler, spinner, and even bouncing ball deliveries, which aids players in adjusting to the many circumstances and difficulties they could encounter in a real game.
Raghu had a modest start to his profession. A hand fracture ended the Karnataka man's professional playing career, preventing him from living his dream of being a cricket player. But his passion for cricket inspired him to take another route, one that would eventually see him contribute significantly to India's cricketing triumph. Raghu made it onto the Karnataka state squad thanks to his amazing work ethic and throwdown speed of above 150. He quickly gained popularity among the players who visited NCA, and Tendulkar suggested that he join India's support staff on a regular basis.
Raghu's versatility in his delivery is what distinguishes him from other throwdown experts. He adapts his throwdowns to each batters' unique requirements, whether it is a yorker or a short ball, assisting them in selecting better shots and being more mentally prepared. His efforts have been essential in getting India's top-order players—including Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni—ready to take on some of the best bowlers in the world.
