India's bowling attack, featuring Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja, has been pivotal in the team's unbeaten run during the league stages of the tournament. Their impressive performance is evident in the statistics: in nine matches, the Indian bowlers have successfully bowled out their opponents seven times.

The prowess of these bowlers is further highlighted by each claiming over ten wickets in the ongoing tournament. Bumrah leads the pack with 17 wickets, closely followed by Shami and Jadeja with 16 wickets each, while Kuldeep and Siraj have bagged 14 and 12 wickets, respectively.

In his conversation with Star Sports, Hussain lauded this current group as the most formidable Indian bowling unit he has seen. He pointed out the challenges that batters face against this formidable Indian bowling lineup.

''This present bowling unit is the best Indian bowling unit I have ever seen. There have been great (Indian) bowlers over time but as a unit (this is the best),'' Hussain said on Star Sports.

''If Bumrah does not get you, Siraj will. If Siraj does not get you, Shami will. If they don't get you, the two spinners will come in and they will get you out.," he added.

Hussain even drew a comparison to the legendary Indian 'Fab Five' of batting, which included Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, current coach Rahul Dravid, and VVS Laxman. According to Hussain, India now boasts a 'Fab Five' in bowling, marking a significant shift in the team's strength.

''There used to be Fab 5 with the bat, this is the Fab 5 with the ball now,'' said Hussain.

As India prepares for their semi-final showdown against New Zealand on November 15 at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, the focus will undoubtedly be on this exceptional bowling unit and its potential to steer India towards a victory in this critical match.
