India's remarkable journey to the World Cup 2023 Final has been nothing short of a dream, with the Rohit Sharma-led side securing an impressive 10-game winning streak, marking a historic feat in their ODI history. As they gear up to face Australia in the final clash on November 19th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the Indian team stands as the heavy favourite to clinch the coveted trophy.

Eoin Morgan, former England captain, shared insights on how Australia could potentially overcome the formidable Indian side in the final. Speaking on Sky Sports, Morgan emphasized the significance of mental preparation for Australia, especially considering their earlier defeat to India in the tournament opener where they were dismissed for a mere 199 runs in Chennai. Despite acknowledging the challenge, Morgan expressed confidence in Australia's ability to upset the dominating Indian force.

"A lot of it is mental preparation...Australia are a side that have the genuine chance of overturning the force that India have been in this World Cup," Morgan commented.

To dismantle India's well-rounded team, Morgan suggested adopting an attacking approach against the Indian bowlers. Highlighting the difficulty in finding weaknesses in the Indian lineup, Morgan stressed the need for Australia to identify and exploit any vulnerability, particularly in the bowling department.

Nasser Hussain, former England captain, concurred with Morgan, pointing out that New Zealand's strategy of targeting Siraj in the semi-final paved the way for them to apply pressure on India. However, Hussain also acknowledged India's formidable bowling lineup, with each bowler posing a unique threat.

"No sides have gone after Kuldeep Yadav in this tournament. New Zealand attacked Siraj. The thing with this Indian side is that when Siraj is hit, Shami comes back. Bumrah at death is quite brilliant....Australia will need to make Rohit do something different," noted Nasser Hussain.

Morgan added to Hussain's analysis, suggesting that if a particular bowler, like Mohammed Shami, is struggling, Australia should intensify the pressure on him. As the cricketing world eagerly awaits the World Cup 2023 Final, the clash between India and Australia promises to be a battle of wits and strategies on the grand stage.
