Babar Azam gets trolled for giving the wrong answer.

PAK captain misunderstood the question asked in English.

Pakistan set to face India in their next game.

Things have not been going right for the Pakistan cricket team and its captain Babar Azam. The loss against the United States in their opening match of the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which was played at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, on June 6 had made Babar and co the target of a lot of criticism and trolling. Now ahead of their big clash against Team India, Babar Azam is getting brutally trolled all over social media for giving a wrong answer in the press conference.

Babar Azam gets trolled

Babar Azam was part of a press conference ahead of the clash against Team India, where he was asked about their loss against co-host nation USA. A reporter asked Babar “Should we call it an upset or did the USA play extraordinarily well”. However, Babar Azam misunderstood the question and replied by saying “Yes I am upset”. The clip of this interaction is now going viral all over the internet at a rapid pace.

English is not Babar Azam's first language. So there are obvious chances of him making a mistake. However, trolls on the internet have used the opportunity against the Pakistan skipper but he gotta look past over all this and prepare for the fame against Team India.

Babar expresses disappointment after loss against USA

Babar Azam was highly disappointed with his team's performance in the clash against the USA which went to the Super Over and eventually losing the match.

“First 6 overs while batting we didn’t capitalise. Back to back wickets always put you on the back foot, as a batter you need to step up and build partnerships. We were not up to the mark in the first 6 overs with the ball. Our spinners also did not take wickets in the middle overs so these things cost us. Very hard, all credit to USA, they played better than us in all three departments. Little bit of moisture in the pitch, it was also two-paced. As a professional, you need to assess the conditions,” said Babar in the post-match press conference.
