The T20 World Cup match between the Netherlands and Bangladesh at Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent, witnessed a phenomenal catch while left everyone stunned. The Dutch team opted to field first after winning the toss. Their decision to bowl first payed off as theymade a strong start with the ball. Leading the bowling attack for the Netherlands was Aryan Dutt. He bowled a stellar spell, picking up two crucial wickets early on. His first victim was Bangladesh's skipper, Najmul Hossain Shanto. Dutt wasn't done there. His second scalp was Litton Das, but he wasn't the only one who was responsible for the Bangladesh's strike batter's wicket. Rather it was Sybrand Engelbrecht's magnificent effort in the field that truly sent Das packing for a low score. Arguably Engelbrecht pulled off a catch of the tournament to jolt Bangladesh and send Litton packing.
Aryan Dutt started the 4th over with a full toss angling in towards Litton Das. Das got down low and attempted a powerful sweep shot. The ball soared high in the air, seemingly destined for a safe landing with no fielders nearby. But Sybrand Engelbrecht had other plans. From deep square leg, he sprinted quickly to his left, launching into a full-fledged dive with outstretched hands to snatch an incredible catch. His exceptional effort could well be the tournament's best catch so far.
