A day before the crunch semi-final between India and England, the Three Lions captain Jos Buttler addressed a press conference and offered updates on several persisting questions like team combination and fitness of Mark Wood and Dawid Malan. The swashbuckling England opening batter also reflected on the Indian squad and expressed his views on Rohit Sharma's brigade.

While speaking about India's bowling attack, Buttler name Bhuvneshwar Kumar as one of the key figures but also affirmed that he does not fear him. Talking about the spinners and how their role becomes significantly important in the middle-overs, the English skipper named Yuzvendra Chahal as a wicket-taking option.

"He (Bhuvneshwar) is a good bowler but I certainly don’t fear him. India is a very strong team. There are some fantastic players in the squad. I think spinners play a huge role in T20 cricket by taking wickets in middle overs. Taking wickets stems the flow of runs. Yuzi is a great bowler. He is a wicket-taking bowler," Buttler said.

Buvneshwar has been phenomenal for the Men in Blue in the 2022 T20 World Cup so far, especially with the new ball. The right-arm pacer has bagged four wickets in five outings at a stupendous economy rate of 5.40 while also registering three maiden overs in the process.

Meanwhile, Chahal has not featured in India's playing XI in this ongoing multi-national tournament so far and it is unlikely that the leg-spinner will feature in the semi-final against England.

Talking about in-form Suryakumar Yadav, who is the third-leading run-scorer in the tournament, Buttler lauded the Indian batter while also claiming that one ball is enough to dismiss a batter.

"He (Suryakumar) has been great to watch. He is a batter who has a lot of shots. But you need one ball to dismiss the batter and we would be desperate to do that," the English captain said.
