Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc recently disclosed a humorous exchange he had with Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal during the first Test in Perth. Jaiswal, who had been charged with excessive aggression in the second innings, engaged in a verbal duel with the fiery Australian bowler. Jaiswal playfully told Starc," it's coming too slow".

This playful banter appears to be a response to Starc's earlier comment to Harshit Rana, where he subtly suggested that the Indian bowler should bowl faster to him. Now, on the eve of second Test, which is scheduled to start from December 6 in Adelaide, Starc has said that he didn't actually hear Jaiswal say that he bowled too slow.
"I didn't actually hear him say I bowled too slow. I don't say too much to people these days. I may have been back in the day, but now I just sort of get on with it. Played that flick shot and I think I bowled pretty much the same ball, and he defended it. I said where the flick shot is, and he laughed at me, and we just left it at that," Starc told cricket.com.au.
Jaiswal's was in his elements in the second innings of the Perth Test, where he scored a brilliant century. Starc has heaped immense praise on Jaiswal, whose 161-run knock played an instrumental role in India's 295-run win in the series opener.
Starc acknowledged Jaiswal's fearless batting style and predicted a long and successful Test career for the young Indian talent.
"He'll play a lot of cricket for India and be highly successful. Certainly, he played really, really well in that second innings. He adapted to conditions through that first Test. We got him cheaply in the first innings and he adapted to that and played a fantastic innings, so full credit to him. He is one of those new crop of fearless young cricketers around the world," he added.

Mitchell Johnson's advice for Australia on Jaiswal's sledging
Meanwhile, former Australia's star pacer Mitchell Johnson had also commented on the incident between Jaiswal and Starc and said that he wants to seem some fight from the Pat Cummins' side.
"As an outsider watching on, I want to see some fight from this Australian side. Not a debutant and a young opening batter from India getting in the faces of our team on our turf and sledging Mitchell Starc saying he’s bowling too slow," Johnson wrote in his column for The West Australian.
