India speedster Jasprit Bumrah who is currently featuring for Rohit Sharma-led squad in Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is in the form of his life. He is currently the highest wicket-taking bowler in the five-Test match series with 30 scalps in four outings against Pat Cummins & Co.. During his last outing in the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) he picked up a nine-wicket haul. However, India lost that match as the top batters apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to perform in the second innings.

Bumrah's wife Sanjana Ganesan who is travelling alongside took her Instagram to share a picture of their son celebrating his father's achievements. The picture of young Angad went viral on the social sphere in no time. Here is the image. 

Bumrah captained India in the first Test match in Perth where the Men in Blue defeated Australia by 295 runs to take a 1-0 lead in five Test match series. However, Australia bounced back in the second Test match and defeated India by 10 wickets in Adelaide. After that, the third Test match at Gabba ended in a draw because of rain. Coming back to the fourth Test, Australia defeated India by 184 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the five-Test match series. With this win against India, Pat Cummins & Co. strengthened their position for the World Test Championship (WTC) final scheduled to take place next year. Now, Australia will lock horns against India for the fifth Test scheduled to take place from January 3-7 in Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney and if the Aussies win that match as well then they will seal their berth for the WTC final which will be played at Lord's Cricket Ground.
