In a series of heartwarming events, Serbia's tennis legend Novak Djokovic has once again expressed his respect for India's star cricketer Virat Kohli, revealing that he wants to share both a tennis court and a cricket field with him. The 24-time Grand Slam champion also disclosed that he is planning a trip to India and said he has been in touch with Kohli regarding the visit.

Novak Djokovic's love towards Virat Kohli

In an interaction with JioHotstar, the 24-time Grand Slam champion expressed that he wants to play cricket with Virat, as he is planning a trip to India in the near future while claiming that the two of them are having a lot of discussions about it.

"I would love to play some cricket and tennis with Virat Kohli. I am planning to visit India in the near future and we have been communicating about it. I know Virat is a global star, but especially in India, he is incredible," said Djokovic.

While continuing, the Serbian star expressed his wish of Virat being his host and exploring India with him, as he has a lot of respect for the star Indian batter. The tennis icon claimed that a lot of members in his team are British and they love cricket a lot.

“I would love for him to be my host and show me around. I have a lot of respect for him and for Indian cricket. Cricket isn’t big in Serbia, where I come from. But some of the people in my team are British and they love cricket," added Djokovic.

It will be interesting to see when this crossover between the two sporting icons takes place, as it would be a feast for the sports lovers across all over the world. Both Virat and Djokovic have a huge fan following all over the world for their immense contribution in their respective sports.
