Dube returns
Shivam Dube has made a comeback to the ODIs after nearly 2 years. Dube was named Nitish Kumar Reddy's replacement. Reddy was named in the squad as Hardik Pandya's replacement. Dube's previous ODI appearance was against Sri Lanka in August 2024. The 33-year-old has been picked for his ability to contribute with the ball. He has played four ODIs and bowled 17.5 overs so far. He has only one wicket in the format.
Brar over Arshdeep
Gurnoor Brar has been rewarded for his impressive performances in the debut ODI series against Afghanistan. He picked up seven wickets from three games. Then, he claimed 10 wickets against Sri Lanka A in red-ball game. Brar will make his away ODI debut. With Brar and Prasidh Krishna in the side, Arshdeep has been benched.
