Sooryavanshi is likely to play in the third T20I of the series against England.

India’s 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi took a nasty blow to his body as he faced throwdown speciallist Raghuvendra Dwivedi in the nets on the eve of the third T20I of the series against England. Raghu bowled a short delivery, Sooryavanshi went for the pull shot but missed. The ball hit him and Sooryavanshi was in visible discomfort as he got down on his knees. He needed medical attention after the injury scare. He was seen rubbing his abdomen area. Later, a spray was applied and Sooryavanshi resumed practice after some time.

In the previous game, Sooryavanshi created history at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. He became youngest Indian cricketer to make his senior international debut. However, his much-anticipated debut innings did not last long. He hit two sixes in his 10-ball 14. He was dismissed stumped out off Will Jacks' bowling in the fifth over. India ended up losing the match by four wickets.

Also, Sooryavanshi has retained his place for the Zimbabwe tour featuring three T20Is. Reportedly, the young southpaw is set to get a longer run which is also the reason why Sanju Samson is not in the squad for Zimbabwe tour.

Meanwhile, England have already announced their side for the third T20I. They have opted not to tinker with the winning combination. On the other hand, India may make a change to the bowling department. Also, skipper Shreyas Iyer may give Shivam Dube a few overs, especially after his selection in the ODI squad as Nitish Kumar Reddy’s replacement.
