Indian speedster Mohammed Siraj who is currently featuring in the second ODI against Sri Lanka was captured using foul language while bowling to Akila Dananjaya at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Siraj who was the part of T20 World Cup 2024 winning team played the three-match T20I series against the Island nation before the ODIs. The first match of the three-match ODI series ended in a tie and now both teams want to win this match to get a hold on the series.

A video of Siraj is going viral where fans are speculating that the speedster was using foul language while bowling to Akila Dananjaya during the 49th over, here is the clip.

Siraj has bowled eight overs where he conceded 43 runs and conceded one wicket. The first blow for India was landed by Siraj when he had in-form Pathum Nissanka caught by KL Rahul behind the wicket.
Coming back to the match, It was Dunith Wellalage (39) and Kamindu Mendis (40) that helped the hosts to score 240/9 in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. Indian spinners Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav were the pick of the bowlers by getting three and two scalps respectively.
While writing this copy, India have scored 84 runs without losing a single wicket where Indian captain Rohit Sharma scored 55 runs and Shubman Gill scored 27 runs in 12 overs. India need 157 runs to win this match.
Sri Lanka would hope that their bowlers can do an encore of the first match during their turn. The third ODI match between India and Sri Lanka will take place on August 06 at the same venue.
