West Indies batting lineup surrendered to Indian spinners as the visitors won the five-T20I series by 4-1. West Indies batters with the exception of Shimron Hetmyer looked clueless against Indian spinners and got all out for 100 and lost the match by a huge margin of 88 runs.
Axar rules powerplay overs
Axar Patel was sensational in the powerplay overs. Jason Holder opened the innings for West Indies and got bowled for a three-ball duck. Shamarh Brooks and Devon Thomas got out to Axar as well.
Incomprehensible collapse
Hetmyer tried to anchor the run chase but did not get any support from the other end. Skipper Nicholas Pooran got out to Kuldeep Yadav. In the middle overs, Indian spinners Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep rushed through Caribbean batting lineup.
Hetmyer’s lone show, spinners rule

Bishnoi took four wickets whereas Kuldeep bagged three wickets as West Indies got all out for 100 with 26 balls left in the innings. This was also West Indies’ second-lowest total against India in the format. This is also the first time spinners have taken all 10 wickets in men's T20Is.
Another opener on the block
