The right-handed batter Dhoni has featured in 250 IPL matches, predominantly representing Chennai-based franchise, except for his tenure with Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) from 2016 to 2017. Over these matches, he has amassed 5,082 runs at an average of 38.79. He has also notched up 24 half-centuries in the tournament and has taken 142 catches besides executing 42 stumping.
