SRH thrashed RCB by 25 runs in a high-scoring thriller.

After a 25-run victory against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a high-scoring thriller, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have maintained their fourth position in the IPL 2024's points table, boasting four wins from six matches.

RCB hit the rock bottom in the IPL 2024 standings

On the other hand, RCB have endured their sixth defeat of the season and remain anchored at the bottom of the table, with a streak of five consecutive losses.

The reigning champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), have solidified their place in the top four by securing their fourth victory against Mumbai Indians (MI). CSK now rank third in the points table, just behind Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who hold the second spot due to a superior net run rate.

KKR recently clinched a victory against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by eight wickets, marking their fourth win in five matches and rebounding from a previous defeat to CSK. Both CSK and KKR are merely two points behind the table leaders, Rajasthan Royals (RR). RR, having played six matches and won five, topped the table following their win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) by three wickets on April 13. This victory for RR came as a recovery from a close three-wicket defeat against Gujarat Titans (GT).

Meanwhile, both Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) have managed three wins each from their six matches. However, LSG edges out GT for the fifth spot due to a superior net run rate. On the other hand, the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians (MI), are facing an uphill battle. With just two wins from six matches and a recent loss to CSK, they find themselves languishing in eighth place. Sharing the same number of points (4) are Punjab Kings (PBKS), who occupy the seventh position in the IPL 2024's points table.
