Much to the delight of cricket fans around the world, Indian cricket's star Rishabh Pant is gearing up to make his return to professional cricket after suffering a horrific car accident in December 2022. After undergoing rehabilitation for 14 months, Pant will mark his return in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and fans across the world are looking forward to watching the entertaining cricket back in action.
Ahead of Rishabh Pant's much-anticipated return, let's take a look at his performance in the IPL so far.
Rishabh Pant - the captain
Rishabh Pant has captained the Delhi Capitals in 30 matches so far in his leadership career in the cash-rich tournament and his record is decent, to say the least. Under his leadership, the Delhi-based franchise has won 16 matches and lost 13 contests while one game ended in a No Result.

When it comes to Pant's individual performance as captain, the left-handed batter has scored 760 runs in 30 matches. Pant hasn't been able to help the Delhi Capitals win their maiden IPL title yet. He began his captaincy in 2020 in a stand-in role but became the full-time skipper from the IPL 2021.
Rishabh Pant - the wicket-keeper
In 98 IPL matches that Pant has kept wickets, he boasts a terrific record. The Delhi Capitals captain has taken 64 catches and inflicted 18 stumping as a wicket-keeper. Thus, Pant has 82 dismissals as a wicket-keeper in 98 IPL matches.
Rishabh Pant - the batter
Rishabh Pant's record as a batter in the cash-rich tournament is splendid. The left-handed batter has scored 2,838 in 98 matches at a strike rate of 147.97. The southpaw has smashed 260 fours and 129 sixes in the IPL. Pant has registered 15 half-centuries and one century in his IPL career so far. His best score in IPL stands at 128 not out.
