PBKS team's IPL setbacks
Kings XI Punjab, now known as Punjab Kings, are among the teams that have yet to claim the IPL Trophy. Despite reaching the semifinals in 2008 and finishing as runners-up in 2014, the PBKS team was defeated by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by three wickets in Bangalore.
The franchise has endured a string of disappointing seasons, failing to qualify for the playoffs for nine years. Their frequent changes in team captains have impeded their ability to establish a winning formula.
