India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter, Rinku Singh won the hearts of fans with his kind-hearted gesture for a teenage cricketer. The incident occurred during the training camp of Kolkata Knight Riders when Rinku was batting. The left-handed Rinku smashed a straight six and the ball struck a teenage cricketer's head. Upon realising that the boy was hit on the head from his shot, Rinku went to check up on him and even offered an apology. KKR mentor Abhishek Nayar gifted his hat to the boy and Rinku later signed on it.
KKR posted the video of Rinku's gesture on their official X account and captioned it: "All heart, Rinku Bhaiya!"

Rinku Singh gearing up for IPL 2024
Rinku Singh is another one of those rags-to-riches stories emerging from the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rinku became a sensation in the cricket fraternity last season when he smashed five consecutive sixes in the last over to pull off an improbable win for the Knight Riders against Gujarat Titans.
Rinku was not a one-match wonder. The southpaw continued to dominate opposition bowling attacks with his exhilarating effort with the bat and emerged as one of the best players of the tournament last season.
The 26-year-old scored 474 runs in 14 matches with a stupendous strike rate of 149.53. He smashed 31 fours and 29 sixes in the campaign last season and registered four half-centuries.
Rinku was fast-tracked to the Indian team
After his marvelous performance in IPL 2023, Rinku earned his maiden India call-up in the shortest format and the youngster made an instant impact. In the 11 innings he has played for India in T20Is, Rinku has carved his niche and emerged as one of the important members of the Indian team in the shortest format of the sport.
Rinku has scored 356 runs in 11 T20I innings at a breathtaking strike rate of 176.23. His average of 89 is also mindboggling while he already smashed 31 fours and 20 sixes in T20Is.
