RCB hasn't won IPL yet
Despite being one of the best teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL), RCB has not won the trophy once. They entered the finals thrice but were unsuccessful in winning the trophy. In 2009 they lost to Deccan Chargers, in 2011 they lost to Chennai Super Kings and in 2016 when they were very close to winning the trophy they lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This year RCB will once again be led by the former South African captain Faf du Plessis.
RCB unboxing event
RCB is set to host their unboxing event for the third time in a row and the second time at their home venue Bengaluru. This event was first organized in 2022 when they announced Faf Du Plessis as their captain. In 2023, RCB introduced a hall of fame in which their key players AB De Villiers and Chris Gayle were honored. This year RCB will be releasing their new jersey for the 2024 season and it is expected they might announce their new name alongside this, there will be a performance by the International DJ and Music Producer, Alan Walker.
