Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) thrashed Delhi Capitals (DC) by 23 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday (April 15). Riding on Virat Kohli's spectacular 50 off 34 RCB posted a challenging total of 174/6 on the board. In reply, DC were reduced to 151/9 in their stipulated 20 overs. This was DC's fifth defeat on the trot. Besides RCB jolt, they have suffered defeats at the hands of Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants.
DC lost the game, but there came a moment which glued everyone's eyes on Aman Khan when he pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss RCB skipper Faf Du Plessis.
RCB started their innings on a high as they were flying with 42/0 in 4.3 overs on the board. The former South African legend had already scored a boundary of the previous ball of Mitchell Marsh's over and played another big shot. But, this time he couldn't time the ball and holed out to Aman Khan who was stationed at short mid-wicket as he pulled off a blinder five marching order to Du Plessis after scoring 22 off 16.

In reply, DC lost three quick wickets to be reduced to 2 for 3 at one stage and the team never recovered from the setback, eventually finishing at 151 for nine in their 20 overs.
It was Delhi’s fifth loss on the trot, leaving them with the task of winning eight of their next nine games to have any hopes of making it to the knockout stage.
