The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is coming close to an end, with just three more days of action left for the fans to be delighted about. A total of 65 matches have been played so far in IPL 2023, and the franchises involved have provided immense entertainment to their loyal supporters. After more than a month of action in the cash-rich tournament, all the teams are gearing up for the business end of the competition.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) registered an emphatic win against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on May 18 (Thursday) in Hyderabad, courtesy of Virat Kohli's emphatic century, his sixth in league history and first since IPL 2019. Faf du Plessis's men registered an eight-wicket win and kept their hopes of reaching the playoffs very much alive.

1. Gujarat Titans: The defending champions continue to be at the top of the points table with nine wins in 13 matches played. They have earned 18 points and a Net Run Rate (NRR) of 0.835.
2. Chennai Super Kings: The Men in Yellow continue to be in second place despite losing against KKR. They have seven wins in 13 matches played. They have an NRR of 0.381 and 15 points to their name.
3. Lucknow Super Giants: Krunal Pandya's men are third on the points table. LSG have won seven out of their 13 matches so far and have an NNR of 0.304 and 15 points.
4. Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli took his team back into the top four with his ton against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). They have seven wins in 13 matches this season so far with an NRR of 0.180 and 14 points.
5. Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma's army is fifth on the points table after RCB's win. They have seven victories in 13 matches so far and their NNR is -0.128.
6. Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson's slipped to sixth place on the points table. They have six wins and seven defeats in 13 matches played so far. The Royals have earned 12 points with an NNR of 0.140.
7. Kolkata Knight Riders: In 13 matches played, KKR have lost seven games and won six contests. They are in seventh place with an NRR of -0.256.
8. Punjab Kings: The Punjab-based franchise have six wins in 13 matches played. They have 12 points with an NRR of -0.308.
9. Delhi Capitals: David Warner-led Delhi have only secured five wins in a total of 13 matches played so far with an NRR of -0.572.
10. Sunrisers Hyderabad: The Orange Army is at the bottom of the points table. They have 8 points with an NRR of -0.575 in 12 matches played.
