The Kings defeated the Mumbai Indians in their final league match of the season to make it to the top two. Here are the batters who scored more than 500 runs in the IPL edition while leading the Punjab Kings.

Iyer scored an unbeaten 26 off 16 balls with the help of two sixes and a four in the match played against MI. With this innings, he scored 514 runs in 14 matches at an average of 51.4 and a strike rate of 171.90.

He has hit five half-centuries and 31 sixes so far. No other PBKS batter has been able to touch the 500-run mark in the league stage this season.

KL Rahul enjoyed a record-breaking IPL season while leading PBKS (then Kings XI Punjab) in IPL 2020. The dashing opener scored 670 runs in 14 matches at an average of 55.83.

He had a strike rate of 129.34 and this included five fifties and a century. Rahul's highest IPL score also came in the same year which is 132* against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Although PBKS could not make it to the playoffs, Rahul won the Orange Cap.

Rahul was also the third-highest run-scorer in IPL 2021. The PBKS captain scored 626 runs in 14 matches at an average of 62.60. He managed to hit six fifties that season with a best score of 98*. His strike rate was 138.80. Rahul left the PBKS camp after the 2021 edition. Meanwhile, no other batsman has even scored 400 runs in an edition while leading Punjab.
