MI will face RR in their upcoming clash of IPL 2025.

Former India cricketer Piyush Chawla has sent a warning to all the teams of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 after witnessing Mumbai Indians' (MI) comeback in the 18th edition of the tournament. MI made a remarkable comeback in the ongoing season after getting a bad start. The Hardik Pandya-led side is currently in third place in the points table after registering a 54-run win against Lucknow Super Giants.

The Mumbai-based franchise has won five consecutive matches after winning just one out of their first five outings. Hence, MI are on the cusp of qualifying for the playoffs, as whenever they’ve won five successive games in a season, they’ve gone on to win the trophy four times out of five.

Recently, Chawla also commented on MI's winning campaign and said that the team is full of match winners. Hence, everyone should be scared of them.

"You have so many match winners in that playing XI. Today, Jasprit Bumrah came in as an impact player and what impact he has left on the game! So that's why this team is on a roll, and when Mumbai Indians are on a roll, every other team should be scared of them," Chawla said on JioHotstar.

He further mentioned how everyone in MI, starting from the openers till number 11 are match winners and also praised Hardik Pandya’s leadership.

"You start right from the beginning till number 11. Ryan Rickelton the knock that he played today we know Rohit Sharma, what he has done in the last two games Will Jacks came in, and he provided those two crucial wickets. So, I think things are falling in place; whatever Hardik is doing, it's happening for the team, and that's what this team is all about,” he added.

Mumbai Indians will now face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their upcoming clash of May 1 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. They will be eager to continue their winning momentum in the upcoming fixture and further solidify their place in the top two as the race for the playoffs heats up.
