International Cricket Council (ICC) has finally announced the nominees for the Men's and Women's Player of the Month awards for their stellar performances in March 2025. In the men's category India's Shreyas Iyer has been nominated alongside New Zealand's Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra.

On the other hand, the nominations for the Women's Player of the Month for March 2025 include two cricketers from Australia and one from the United States of America (USA). Australian players Annabel Sutherland and Georgia Voll are in contention for the award, along with USA's Chetnaa Prasad.
Shreyas Iyer played an instrumental role in India's Champions Trophy 2025 title triumph. Throughout the three ODIs played in March, the right-handed batter amassed 172 runs at a notable average of 57.33. His consistent performance also made him India's highest run-scorer in the eight-team tournament.

During the group stage match against New Zealand, Iyer contributed a crucial 79 runs. He followed this with a solid 45 in the semi-final clash against Australia. In the final match against New Zealand, Iyer once proved his batting prowess under pressure, anchoring the chase with a steady 48.
Jacob Duffy was a standout performer for New Zealand in their T20I series against Pakistan, which they won 4-1. The right-arm fast bowler emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the series, claiming an impressive 13 wickets at an average of just 8.38 and an economical rate of 6.17. His contributions included match-winning spells, notably his career-best figures of 4 wickets for 14 runs in Christchurch and another four-wicket haul for 20 runs in Mount Maunganui.
Duffy's exceptional performance in the T20I series propelled him to the top position in the ICC Men's T20I bowling rankings. He also contributed with the ball in the ODI series against Pakistan, picking up two wickets in the opening match. Overall, Duffy concluded March with a total of 15 wickets across six matches.
Rachin Ravindra played a significant role in New Zealand's journey to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final. The left-handed batsman accumulated 151 runs in three ODIs, maintaining a solid average of 50.33 and a striking strike rate of 106.33. Additionally, he contributed with the ball, taking three wickets at an economical rate of 4.66.
In the semi-final clash against South Africa, Ravindra played a crucial innings, scoring 108 runs and forging a substantial 164-run partnership with Kane Williamson. Notably, the young cricketer was not part of the subsequent white-ball series against Pakistan due to his commitments in the ongoing IPL 2025.
Here are the nominees for Women's Player of the Month award
Chetnaa Prasad was a standout player for the USA during the Women's T20 World Cup Americas Region Qualifier. The 19-year-old bowler impressed with nine wickets in just three games, maintaining an exceptional average of 2.22. Her performances included an impressive 4 wickets for 8 runs against Brazil in her first outing, and she followed this up with a game-changing spell of 4 wickets for just 5 runs in their victory over Canada.
Annabel Sutherland, who previously won the Player of the Month award in December 2024, continued her strong performances in the final two T20Is against New Zealand. The Australian all-rounder picked up eight wickets at an impressive average of 8. She also made a valuable contribution with the bat in the second T20I of the three-match series, scoring a crucial unbeaten 23 runs off just 15 deliveries. Georgia Voll played a key role in Australia's 3-0 T20I series win over New Zealand. The 21-year-old opening batter finished the series as the second-highest run-scorer, accumulating a total of 161 runs. She started the series strongly with a rapid 50 off 31 balls, followed by 36 runs off 20 balls in the second match, and concluded with a career-best innings of 75 runs off 57 balls.
