Lucknow Super Giants are already ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 as they managed to win just six matches out of 13 outings. The Lucknow-based franchise is currently preparing for their last league match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), which will take place on May 27 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
LSG skipper Rishabh Pant also had a forgetful outing in the 18th edition of the cash-rich league. The wicketkeeper batter was unable to give his best despite being the most expensive player in the history of the tournament. A clip of Pant is going viral on a social sphere where he can be seen limping while giving autographs to the fans, and that sparked speculations about his participation in the team's last league clash. After the IPL 2025, Pant will travel to England for the upcoming Test match series. The wicketkeeper batter will be Shubman Gill's deputy in the upcoming five Test match series against England which is scheduled to start from June 20.
