CSK IPL Auction 2025 live: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opened coffers for their former ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in the IPL 2025 mega auction, which was held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, where 577 players went under the hammer. Ashwin, who was earlier released by Rajasthan Royals, fetched Rs 9.75 crore in the auction. CSK also ended up bringing back Devon Conway in their squad which cost them Rs 6.25 crore. But it was Noor Ahmed, who turned heads as he hit the jackpot and fetched Rs 10 crore. Rahul Tripathi, Rachin Ravindra and Khaleel Ahmed remained the other big buys for CSK.
The five-time champions decided to retain five players before the auction and entered the mega auction with a purse of INR 55 crore. They have retained skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad along with Ravindra Jadeja, Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube and MS Dhoni for just 4 crore because of uncapped rule.
