RCB vs PBKS Today Match Toss Update: Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Punjab Kings as Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bowl first in a rain-delayed Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on April 18, Friday. The toss was scheduled to take place at 7 PM IST but steady drizzle delayed it. As per the revised playing conditions, it will be a  14-over per side game now. The RCB versus PBKS match will start at 9:45 PM.  The batting powerplay will be of four overs. Four bowlers can bowl a maximum of 3 overs each, 1 bowler can bowl the remaining 2 overs

What did the captains say after the toss?

PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer, after winning the toss, said:

"We will bowl first. It's a good ground to chase and it's a rain interrupted game, overs have been reduced, will have a fair idea of how the wickert will play and that was always the pln. Stoinis comes in for Maxwell and Harpreet Brar is in. We need to have the right players at the right place, especially the angles".

Meanwhile, RCB skipper Rajat Patidar, after losing the toss, said:

"We have to be smart in adapting to the conditions, we'll try our best. A bit sticky, but the surface looks hard, we will put up a good total on the board. Same team, but I'm confused with the impact player"
