Punjab Kings star Cooper Connolly achieved a major milestone during the ongoing clash against Lucknow Super Giants in what is a crucial encounter for PBKS’ playoff hopes in the Indian Premier League 2026.
While the already-eliminated LSG have nothing to lose from this contest, Punjab Kings are under massive pressure as a defeat would officially end their playoff hopes.

Connolly becomes second-highest run-scorer in debut IPL season
With his latest contribution in the match, Connolly moved to 491 runs in IPL 2026 and entered an elite list featuring some of the biggest debut seasons in IPL history.
The Australian youngster is now the second-highest run-scorer in IPL history during a debut season and trails only fellow Australian and former PBKS legend Shaun Marsh.

PBKS need victory to stay alive in playoff race
