Virat Kohli spotted watching Urvil Patel’s explosive innings

During RCB’s practice session ahead of their important clash against the MI, Virat Kohli was seen taking out a hydrating drink from a container before briefly stopping to watch the television screen nearby.

The former RCB skipper appeared fully focused on the live action from Chepauk as Urvil Patel tore apart the LSG bowling attack.

Patel’s innings turned the game completely in Chennai Super Kings’ favour. The youngster hammered 65 runs off just 23 deliveries, smashing eight sixes and two boundaries during his brutal assault.

His breathtaking knock helped CSK successfully chase down a 203-run target against Lucknow Super Giants and register a massive victory in the IPL 2026 playoff race.

Patel’s record-equalling fifty also made him only the second batter in IPL history to reach the landmark in just 13 balls after Yashasvi Jaiswal achieved the feat in 2023.

However, it turned out to be another disappointing outing with the bat for Kohli, who was dismissed for a second consecutive duck during the tense encounter.
