Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) full schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has been finalised. Under the new aegis of Ajinkya Rahane and vice-captain Rinku Singh, the three-time champions enter the 19th edition of the tournament with a revamped squad, aiming to secure a spot in the playoffs after an active rebuilding phase in the recent auction.
The team is set to open its campaign on March 29 with a high-profile "blockbuster" away game against the Mumbai Indians. This season-opening clash will be held at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, marking a significant early test for KKR’s new-look pace attack, which features record-signing Cameron Green and replacement pacer Blessing Muzarabani.
Following their trip to Mumbai, the Knight Riders will return to their fortress, Eden Gardens, for their first home match of the season on April 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This fixture kicks off a crucial three-game home stretch in early April, where the team will also host the Punjab Kings and the Lucknow Super Giants.
