Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Indian cricketer lavished praise on Gujarat Titans (GT) star Sai Sudharsan for his impressive performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Rajasthan Royals at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

Sai Sudharsan is in the form of his life, the latter played a hard-hitting knock of 82 runs against RR that helped the Shubman Gill-led side to put 217 runs on board. Kaif took his 'X,' formerly known as Twitter, to hail Sudarshan for his performance. 

"Sai Sudarshan shows how the right technique will never go out of fashion. Plays ball on merit, takes calculated risks and has a calm head on shoulders. Lambi race ka ghoda hai" Kaif wrote. 

 

Sai Sudharsan has scored 273 runs in five IPL outings, including a highest score of 82 runs with an average of 54.60 and three half-centuries. GT are currently on number two in the IPL 2025 points table tally behind Delhi Capitals (DC). Shubman Gill's side has played four matches in the tournament and won three out of them.

Coming back to the clash, after being asked to bat first, GT managed to score 217 runs, losing six wickets in 20 overs, where RR's Maheesh Theekshana and Tushar Deshpande picked two wickets each, conceding 54 and 53 runs, respectively. 

While writing this copy, Rajasthan Royals need 188 off 97 balls, GT managed to pick two wickets. Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag are building a partnership.
