Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has had a forgetful season in the last edition of the Indian Premier League, where the franchise finished seventh in the points table with six wins in the 14 outings of the cash-rich league. The Uttar Pradesh-based franchise has traded veteran speedster Mohammed Shami from the Sunrisers Hyderabad who was the second-most expensive acquisition for the Hyderabad-based team. Skipper Rishabh Pant will continue to lead the side in the upcoming edition of the tournament.
Lucknow Super Giants player trades: Mohammad Shami (Rs 10 crore) and Arjun Tendulkar (Rs 30 lakh) traded in from Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, respectively. Shardul Thakur (Rs 2 crore) traded out to the Mumbai Indians.
Lucknow Super Giants released players: Aryan Juyal, David Miller, Yuvraj Chaudhary, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Akash Deep, Ravi Bishnoi, and Shamar Joseph.
