Who will Mayank replace in LSG side?

The express pacer is likely to replace Akash Deep in the side. He may be used as their impact player. So far, Akash has been expensive. He has taken three wickets from as many games. In the match against Gujarat Titans (GT), he remained wicketless and conceded 33 runs. His most expensive spell of the season came against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the high-scoring encounter. He got two crucial wickets but conceded 55 runs from his quota of four overs.

LSG in top four

LSG are currently placed fourth on the points table with four wins from six games. While their captain Rishabh Pant is yet to fire, the top-order has been tremendous form. Nicholas Pooran is the orange cap holder and has been smashing sixes at ease. Openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram have made valuable contributions as well. In the bowling department, replacement pacer Shardul Thakur is a contender for purple cap. Also, rookie spinner Digvesh Rathi has taken eight wickets from six games including a few big names.
