How MI fared in IPL as of now?
Mumbai Indians finished last in the previous season becoming the only team to have finished last on the points table twice, the first instance was in IPL 2022. The reason for the performance was the leadership fiasco team faced after bringing trading Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans and removing the captain who helped them achieve all five trophies they won. Under Rohit Sharma Mumbai Indians have won Indian Premier League 5 times (2013,2015,2017,2019,2020). The team has been instrumental with its core players like Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga and Keiron Pollard. Before 2013, the team came closest to the trophy in 2010 where they lost the final against Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Chennai Super kings.
