Five-time champions Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Mumbai Indians (MI) were active with trades till the last edition of retention deadlines, as they announced on the last day that they had let go bowling all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a trade while bringing back leg-spinner Mayank Markande after a trade from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Hardik Pandya-led side will enter the mini-auction with a purse of just Rs. 2.75 crore. Arjun will move to LSG at his existing fee of Rs 30 lakh. Son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun was first picked by MI at the 2021 IPL auction, he made his IPL debut for the franchise in 2023.
