Batting juggernaut Virat Kohli has rejoined Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) squad in preparation for the upcoming IPL 2025 which is set to start from March 22. Virat Kohli arrived in Bengaluru on Saturday, March 15, and is set to commence his training regimen shortly. Kohli's return to RCB follows his exceptional performance in the recent ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He was on song with the bat in India's winning campaign at the Champions Trophy 2025. India defeated New Zealand in the final to lift the Champions Trophy and win their second back-to-back ICC title on March 9.    

He didn't get off to a good start but quickly regained his peak form as the Champions Trophy progressed. Notably, he produced a masterful century against Pakistan in India's winning cause.

Following his century, Virat Kohli continued his stellar performance with a crucial innings in the semi-final clash against Australia. Under immense pressure, he crafted a phenomenal 84, contributing to India's decision victory. His consistent run-scoring throughout the tournament culminated in him finishing as the second-highest run-scorer, amassing over 200 runs and playing a vital role in India's undefeated championship run.   

Now, Kohli aims to translate his international success into the IPL 2025 season, with the goal of leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru to the first IPL title in the 2025 season. Meanwhile right ahead of the IPL 2025, RCB has dropped a video of Virat Kohli which has seen the fans going gaga over it.

RCB franchise posted a video with a caption:

"The King is here, and like always, he’s 2 steps (sometimes a LOT more) ahead of everyone. D̶o̶n̶ Virat ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi… You know the rest."

He further amplified the excitement by delivering a concise yet impactful statement, declaring, "No. 18 is ready for season 18".

The quickly soon got viral on social media and has been trending since.

Kohli is poised to play a crucial role for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the upcoming IPL 2025 season. Notably, he will be playing under the newly appointed captain, Rajat Patidar. RCB will start their IPL 2025 campaign with a highly anticipated match against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22, setting the stage for an exciting start to their season.
