IPL 2025 Mega Auction Latest Updates: Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will enter the mega auction 2025 with a purse of INR 83 crores as they have retained just three players, Virat Kohli (21 crores), Rajat Patidar (11 crores) and Yash Dayal (5 crores) for the upcoming season of the cash-rich league which is scheduled to start from March 25. RCB has released their skipper Faf du Plessis and will surely look for the skipper for the upcoming tournament edition. Besides the skipper, RCB will also look for a wicketkeeper batter as Dinesh Karthik announced retirement from all forms of cricket after IPL 2024.

When will IPL 2025 mega auction take place?
The Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL) mega auction will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25. 577 players will be auctioned off, including some star players like Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Jos Buttler, and Yuzvendra Chahal. T20 World Cup USA star Saurabh Netravalkar will also be part of the mega auction.
