Pat Cummins-led Sunrisers Hyderabad have retained their most Heinrich Klaasen, ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction scheduled for December 16. However, there were speculations that the franchise might release the South African batter, but the Hyderabad-based franchise have held on to the wicketkeeper-batter at his 2025 auction price of Rs 23 crore.
The 17th edition IPL finalists have released eight players, including leg-spinners Adam Zampa and Rahul Chahar, all-rounder Wiaan Mulder, and Indian finisher Abhinav Manohar, who saw limited opportunities in IPL 2025. They will enter the mega auction with a of Rs 25.5 crore.

How did SRH fare last year?
SRH had an underwhelming season in the IPL 2025, which fell short of expectations, especially considering they were the runners-up in the previous 2024 season. Led by captain Pat Cummins and coached by Daniel Vettori, the team ultimately failed to secure a playoff spot.
